Holy Week
Worship
Schedule
April 5
Palm
Sunday Luncheon & Easter Egg Hunt
After Worship, Children's Ministry is sponsoring a Covered Dish
Luncheon in the Fellowship Hall (The church will provide the drinks.)
Afterwards we will have our Easter Egg Hunt.
Children)s Ministry is
asking for donations of candy-filled Easter eggs
for the Easter Egg Hunt. Please place these in the marked box beside
the
stairs before
April 5.
April 9
Holy
Thursday Service
7 pm, Fellowship Hall
Experience the scene in that Upper Room as we recreate the environment
of the last supper of our Lord. We will share in a common meal in much
the way Jesus and the Twelve did on that final night of his life.
Please join us in the Fellowship Hall for this time of sharing in
Christian fellowship over a holy meal.
April 10
Good Friday Service 7 pm,
Sanctuary
The theme is The
Nails of Christ and by recalling the actual execution of
our Lord - we will recount the details of that agony and dying. Each
worshiper will leave the service with a keepsake, a symbol to carry
with you to remember the atoning death of Jesus Christ.
April12
Sunrise Service 6:30 am,
Church Cemetery
As sun rises over the cemetery, we will recreate the shock, doubt, and
mystery that came over those women who first came to the garden on that
first Easter morn. The service will be held in the cemetery (weather
permitting) and will conclude with a powerful witness to our unity in
believing that God did, in fact and truth, raise His Son from the dead.
UMM Breakfast
Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy a delicious breakfast served by
our United Methodist Men immediately following Sunrise Service in the
Fellowship Hall.
Easter Sunday Worship Service 11 am, Sanctuary
What if you only had a few moments to witness to your faith in the
risen Christ? Pastor Todd's sermon, "Next Sunday
... Time it" will attempt to answer that question by
looking at the sacrificial faith of a young pastor, Paul Schneider, who
preached in a Nazi concentration camp jail cell.
Please invite others to
join and worship with you as we all
celebrate
the most important day of the Christian Year.
